Updated January-11-08... So many of these have been sold during the holiday season, I can't keep the inventory on the website current -- so I went ahead and marked every barrette as sold.  I can closely replicate just about every design, so please contact me to special order any of these barrettes.  The barrettes are handcrafted dichroic fused glass barrettes, in three different sizes!  Many of the newer designs feature a variety of patterned dichroic, hand-cut, pieced together, and carefully aligned side by side for the kiln firing. The small barrettes ($25) utilize a 2-5/8" barrette backing.  The medium barrettes ($35) are on a 3" backing.  I'm also introducing wide barrettes ($37) for extra-thick hair, using a 4" backing.  Each fused glass barrette incorporates a French-made spring-loaded clip.  The barrettes are fired twice: once to fuse the decorative elements together, and then a second time to slump the piece in a gently curving arc, conforming to the curve of the barrette.
