Page updated April 4, 2008...Special-order only -- for obvious reasons: each installation is unique, and I handcraft the glass tiles to fit your needs. These tiles are often used as accent pieces, to supplement a field tile backsplash installation. But they can also be used alone, to provide a one-of-a-kind touch to kitchens and baths not possible with conventional ceramic tiles. I now have an open studio in Laguna Beach, California, so if you live in the area -- or are visiting -- you can drop by for a first-hand look at glass color samples! Please call ahead (949.497.8800) to make an appointment to visit the studio. The tiles come in two basic finishes: either rounded edge or flush mount edge. The rounded edge tiles are typically used as accent pieces over an existing backsplash or field tile. The flush mount edge tiles are specifically calibrated to fit within a field tile installation where grout is to be applied. Take a look at these photos to see the difference: Here's a few samples of some special order 2" x 2" tiles I've made recently. Many other colors are possible. Check out my drawer pulls to see a broad selection of color/pattern possibilities... because a drawer pull piece is simply a "small tile" to begin with! Each tile is individually made -- I do not stock tiles, since the possible combinations can be enormous! Please scroll to the bottom of the page to view pricing. Similar to my fused glass drawer pulls, I can craft the tiles in a variety of colors, shapes, and styles. I will work with your color chips/materials to match and coordinate your tiles. I work with homeowners, tile installers, and interior designers. Why not consider coordinating your fused glass tiles with specially-matched drawer pulls? I can do it for you. I also offer sample fused glass color "swatches", which allow you to view tile background colors in your home. Pricing: based on 2"x2" square tiles:
